C4ST - Integrated Services

If you are looking for advice or support at the intersection of some of the key strands in sustainable transport — energy efficiency, vehicle emissions, “mobility as a service” and demand reduction — you are probably in the right place.

Centre for Sustainable Transport Ltd (C4ST) consists of three experienced transport professionals who have often worked together on projects but also have separate commissions — in consultancy and advisory roles — with a range of transport and mobility projects.

Chris Endacott continues to work in his own company, Gfleet Services.  Chas Ball retains a role in relevant voluntary sector activities nationally and in the north, including as a board member of the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP).  Richard Armitage has a varied portfolio through his own consultancy as well as interests in cycle logistics (European Cycle Logistics Federation).

We set up C4ST so we could work together and learn from each other on projects that integrate issues of sustainability in transport.  We have experience of working all over the UK and occasionally elsewhere in Europe. We have the support of associates and staff in offices in Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and in our Shrewsbury administrative base.
